In late 1780s, Thomas Daniell and his nephew William Daniell had captured the beauty of Kolkata in timeless aquatints. The city and its River Ghats, Temples and majestic buildings had been etched with perfection.
Biswa Bangla brings to you the Daniells’ aquatints recreated on etched metal plates by the gifted contemporary artist, Rabin Dey.
