Organic Black Poha (Flattened Rice)
Organic Poha (Rice Flakes) are produced from the de-husked Black Rice that is parboiled, rolled, flattened and later dried. Depending on the method of cooking, they can be made both crunchy and soft. The flakes are capable of absorbing a large volume of liquid, and hence can imbibe any kind of flavour well. Fibre-richness and the high levels of anthocyanin in the bran hull (outermost layer) of Black Rice, give these flakes a subdued black color.
